Exploring Nashville

This week I has the opportunity to tag along with hubby on a business trip. Turns out our biggest customer decided to hold their annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee! Eeek! Neither of us have been there before, so of course he was more than excited to bring me along (knowing I’d be all for exploring a new city). However, this trip was really all about making contacts and gaining new business. Meaning not much time to explore the actual city together. We had lots of fun with the time we did have and we made some awesome contacts for the growing business. So a win 3-day trip in the books!

While we may not have gone into downtown together we did get to stay in the amazing Gaylord Opryland Resort, eat delicious BBQ, enjoy cocktails with other adults without any kids for a few days, have dinner at the Grand Ole Opry in Studio A & listen to a couple of really talented songwriters perform a few of their hits.

Of course I managed to fit in a bit of site seeing. A tour of the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday and an entire Thursday of solo adventuring while the poor guy was in early meetings followed up with phone calls and computer work before we flew out that night. So I’d say I got pretty darn lucky to be able to join in on this trip! Here are a handful of the photos I snapped while exploring the beautiful city of Nashville… ENJOY.

One day I plan to go back with a couple of girl friends for a weekend and do even more exploring! I’m thinking a fall trip… I hear it’s gorgeous weather then! Who’s with me?

Happy St. Patricks Day!! We enjoyed our corned beef before our trip and enjoyed our cocktails during. So no late night out for us tonight. I’m happy to be home a day early and to snuggle my babies today. Along with tackling the mountains of laundry we have towering and the pile of filing I should’ve done last week. oops. Reality calls… Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
