32 Weeks

Getting closer and closer… and we are slowly but surely getting more done! I can’t believe how fast the time is going by. At first the arrival of baby J seemed so far away and now we only have 8 weeks left. I was looking back on posts and I’m so glad I decided to start this… it will be such a wonderful thing to have when our lil’ man is all grown up.

32 Weeks

How far along? 32 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Only 2 lbs in the last week. That means I’m 2 lbs away from the 30 lb mark.
Maternity clothes? oh yes. still able to mix in a pre-pregnancy top or soccer shorts. Lately I’m loving the comfort of a sports bra and a pair of Brad’s basketball shorts (he thinks this is just too funny but hey they are comfortable!)
Stretch marks? I think they might be trying. But I’m staying religious with the lotion in hopes that I can keep them away
Sleep: Ha! I wish! Seriously, this week has not been a great one for my oh so precious sleep. Here’s to hoping that I will soon be so tired that I can just sleep through lil’ man kicking, the frequent bathroom breaks, and sheer lack of comfort that is happening due to my growing belly.
Best moment this week: Hmmm… just the time I get to spend with Brad. It’s crazy to think in less than 8 weeks our little family will be 3.
Have you told family and friends: Yep. If they don’t know by now, then they will find out once he’s here?! haha. I should take this one off.
Miss Anything? Oh gosh. My sleep. 🙂 We actually went to Bev-Mo to get Brad some pumpkin porter and we of course searched through all of the fun flavors they had. I probably sounded like an alcoholic when I told the checkout lady only 9 weeks until I can try that watermelon ale. She laughed and said it’s delicious. Not helpful lady haha…
Movement: Lots of it. Lately he is loving my ribs and a constant slow rolling in the same spot on the left side of my stomach. Sometimes I just have to push him back cause it’s very distracting while working.
Food cravings: Nothing exciting. I still have to eat very little at once.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, my newest pain is in my hands. Since tuesday morning this week I have woken up with quite a bit of pain in my fingers/hands and some in my feet. Possible pregnancy carpal tunnel but the doctor wasn’t worried. Just told me to drink more water. Blah.
Gender prediction: Still a boy.
Labor Signs: still none. I’m good with that.
Belly Button in or out? We are still flat. Kinda funny that it hasn’t popped, I wonder when that will happen. Although I’m ok if it just stays flat too.
Wedding rings on or off? Sadly, it is off. I kept it on as long as possible but Thursday it had to come off. Mostly for fear of it getting stuck.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Mostly happy. Still somewhat of a roller coaster… I’m just trying not to worry about all of the little things that still need to get done. Cause I know in the next month I have lots of help from family so it will be just fine.
Weekly Wisdom: The more you can put your feet up and take little naps the better you feel. Try not to push yourself to hard  (I have to remind myself of this constantly!)
Looking forward to: Painting his room Sunday!!! I’m so ready to get a big thing out of the way!

Saw the doctor yesterday morning! He has officially flipped. Good kid! Although he may flip around some more… at least now I know he can be in the right position. Other than that, everything looks great. I’m still a healthy weight and she’s happy with everything. Woo Hoo.

Today I went shopping with Amanda for some of the baby shower supplies… it’s always fun hanging out with her & Cooper! That lil’ boy is so sweet even when he’s sleepy. We ended our day by getting the most amazing cupcakes ever! I waited until I got home to try them with Brad and Oh My Goodness! They might become a new craving lol…

Sweet Daddy Cupcakes. YUM!
