26 Weeks

Today is the start of week 26.
And the most exciting part for me is that we are now officially under 100 days!
In fact today marks only 98 days to go.

This is going by sooo fast. Who would have thought. I think the hardest part is having to hold off on the nesting and excessive purchasing of baby things. Which in the long run may just be smart for me!
I’m excited because this week Brad is buying Baby J some Jordan outfits and his first pair of J’s (Jordan shoes for those who don’t know). He was online shopping while I was at work the other night. Very sweet to see his excitement in all of this. Can’t wait until we get them in… I’ll have to take pictures of course.

This weekend was fairly typical. Lots of work for us both, a nice dinner with Brad’s Uncle Jack and his wife Susan, and some serious house hunting. We found a few really nice ones. One in particular that I absolutely love the layout of. We would be able to have a large office space plus a spacious loft to use as a game room. And to top it off the master bedroom is downstairs! Trying not to get my hopes up but obviously they are! I just have to keep reminding myself  (over and over again) that when it’s meant to be it will be.

I got my first round of thank yous out from the Washington baby shower. Now I just need to get all of the pictures together so that I can post them on here. So stay tuned for those, they’ll be up eventually 🙂

Oh I almost forgot, this last Thursday was my 26th birthday. Lucky for me I’m not feeling that old haha. It was a really great day. I worked a few hours in the morning and came home to some really sweet gifts from Brad. Then off to get a manicure before we went out to dinner. It was so nice of his parents to let us go up to Desert Mountain even though they aren’t in town right now. After dinner we rented Hunger Games and stopped and got frozen yogurt for Brad & Cold Stone for me. I felt like splurging just b/c and turns out it was a terrible idea. I ended up with a tummy ache, it’s been a long time since I’ve had real ice cream. Needless to say lesson learned! And I have yet to eat the other half of it that’s in the freezer.

New pictures next time… For now I have some Sunday cleaning to do before work tonight. And then a little birthday shopping tomorrow 🙂

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
