Hopefully this will be the last chalkboard update until after Cash arrives!
How far along? 39 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: Right around (gasp) 40lbs. Not for sure as I go to the doctor tomorrow.
Maternity clothes? Well duh, 40lbs remember. It’s crazy cause I don’t look that much bigger “according to other people” (although I certainly feel it).
Stretch marks? still none. woo hoo!! now lets make it through delivery… thank you mom for the great genes on this one!
Sleep: eh… some nights are better than others. On Sunday morning (5am) I was wide awake for at least 2 hours, but then Monday night I slept for 6 hrs straight only to get up to pee and back to sleep for 3 more. Although apparently my snoring has hit a whole new level (poor Brad) he’s taken to sleeping upstairs in the guest bedroom this week.
Best moment this week: Decorating our house (even with the small hitches) and just spending time with Brad.
Miss Anything? Didn’t think I would say this but I kind of miss work, it’s probably just the making money part truthfully.
Movement: When doesn’t little guy move. Sometimes I swear it feels like he’s pushing himself or crawling down. That may be just me wishing he was as ready to meet us as we are to meet him.
Food cravings: I haven’t had much room for food. Oh wait, I did really want Red Lobster the other day but the mood passed. Brad asked me the other night what do I want to eat for my first meal… I really want a sub sandwich! Now I just have to pick from where and he’ll make it happen 🙂
Anything making you queasy or sick: I have found myself getting a little dizzy when I stand sometimes. And only one time the pain (probably a contraction) made me a little nauseous.
Gender prediction: He better still be a boy haha…
Labor Signs: Quite a bit of pressure in my lower pelvis area, what feels like period cramping, some low back pain and irregular contractions. Mostly at night is when it all really gets strong.
Belly Button in or out? It’s popped! Just a little bit pushes out… But enough to say it’s an outie!
Wedding rings on or off? Still off. I keep trying to see if it will fit but no luck. So sad… swollen sausage fingers.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. Full of energy… the only time I get moody is when I let myself get anxious.
Weekly Wisdom: Savor and enjoy the last few weeks. I get the feeling life will be chaos when baby boy arrives.
Looking forward to: Meeting him! (Not the actual labor process, that still pretty much scares the heck out of me) But we are both so ready for Cash to arrive!
Also today my father is having his left hip replacement surgery, now they will be even. And finally he will be pain free (well fingers crossed anyway). I’m only a little nervous for him… surgeries always make me uneasy and can be scary. But I know he’ll be even better once it’s done & he has one of the best hip surgeons in Washington! We’ve decided it would be best for everyone if Cash comes tomorrow (or friday I guess) so that dad is in recovery. 🙂
Good Luck today Daddy! Thinking of you all day!

So excited for your new arrival, glad to see you are doing so well. You look absolutely beautiful!
Honey, you are beautiful. Cash will be here before you know it! We can't wait to meet him and be together for Christmas. I know it's hard to be patient, 1st babies, especially boys do tend to take their time. Might as well plan a date night ? Love you, Mom
