Oh my goodness I can hardly believe it!
It’s been exactly one month today since Cash arrived in our lives. It is really crazy how fast time goes by. Which only makes me realize how important it is to cherish each day (and take lots of pictures) 🙂
Our baby boy is getting big! I can already see the small changes in his face.
Each day he is more and more alert and getting so strong. Which we love!
He is such an amazing little miracle. I love that each day I fall more in love with him.

So curious |
Today we had his one month check up.
Dr. Kleiner is a great pediatrician. Each time we go to see him I am reassured that I made the right choice in choosing him to care for my son. He told me over & over how great Cash looked like he was doing and it was really nice to hear that so far all of my “mom” instincts have been right on.
Weight: 11lbs 13oz He’s in the 90th percentile for this. Whoa… what a little chunk huh! 🙂
Height: 22 3/4 inches. He’s in the 90th percentile for this one too!
Head Circ: 15
Head Circ: 15
Clothing: He is almost out of newborn clothes. Mostly wearing 0-3 months at this point. Although we have a couple of newborn onesies that still fit.
Feeding: Such a good little eater. Every 3 hours like clockwork he is hungry. Occasionally he will go 4 hours. But if I lose track of time or we are out and I try to stretch it past that he lets us know about it. Boy can that kid get the hang of his lung capabilities when he wants to.
Sleeping: He is doing great with the stay awake more in the daytime and go right to sleep at night. Honestly some nights are better than others. But for the most part he sticks with the 3-4 solid hours and then he wants to eat. And we’ve started a little bit of a bedtime routine by giving him a bath every night around 8:30 or 9pm. I try not to stress if it doesn’t happen every night but I have noticed if he is fussy or fighting sleep the bath settles him right down and then I can feed him and he hits the hay.
Milestones: He is focusing more on faces and objects. Lifts head when lying on tummy (this one he’s been doing since week one). But now he can hold his head at a 45-degree angle. He is also starting to vocalize a little bit. We’ve had more smiles and some oohs & aahs.

All tuckered out after his shot today. |
Tomorrow we have a big day! We are headed to Washington state to visit the rest of the family. Cash will go on his first airplane ride. It looks like our timing is good though, our flight is around 3pm which is during his normal eating and then sleep time. We also have a plan to try to get our own row being that it’s Southwest so here’s to hoping that it’s not a full flight. Wish us luck that we aren’t “those people” on the plane with the screaming baby that wont stop!
Good Luck with the Flight tomorrow, can't wait to see everyone on sunday.
