Cash Turns 2 {Mickey Style}

Last weekend we got to celebrate our little man turning 2.
*clearly I started this post weeks ago with great intentions. I’m pretty sure my planner says things like “Blog” “write post” “catch up on Blogging” etc… every other day for the past 3 weeks. And then life happens. Or really me just sitting on the couch cuddling with Cash during his sickness. Running around town for a week and a half at different stores/car dealerships/playdates/contractors coming over to fix things (like our kitchen sink falling through the counter, but that’s a story for another day.) I totally let life take over and ignored the computer as of late. So let’s get to catching up!!
No promises as it is Christmas week! But I’m going to give it my best shot 🙂

Crazy to believe that I started this blog as a way to journal my pregnancy with Cash and now he’s a full on little boy teaching us all about the world. We are having the most amazing journey with this kid! I truly couldn’t ask for a better first born {even on those days when he’s driving me absolutely crazy}. So excited to see what this next year brings us in the world of Cash Steve aka Bubba

We went all out for his 2nd birthday… as my hubs said “Disney exploded in our house” or something similar. Sadly we had a lot of friends unable to attend at the last minute due to colds and sickness. But  honestly I’m glad they decided not to bring their germs over, we ended up getting some kind crud 2 weeks later anyway. I get the feeling this could be a battle every year for his December birthday. But that’s life. This year, it was nice to have a smaller, relaxing gathering and we had lots of leftovers. 🙂

Here are some photos of our Mickey Madness…

As you can see it was birthday fun everywhere and lots of laughs in Mickey ears!
We still have a couple goody bags to deliver so his birthday celebration continues for the month 🙂
I’m so glad my parents were able to make the journey. I know they won’t be able to every single year but here’s to hoping we can at least get them out here for every other one or so. And one year we plan to have a big party in Washington just cause!! He definitely needs to experience the large family party that I remember from my childhood!

Stay tuned for a pregnancy update, some Christmasy activities and more! Cross your fingers I can get to all of those this afternoon and schedule them out for the week… just to keep you entertained on your holiday break! lol. For now we need to get to breakfast and run a couple last minute errands.

Happy Christmas Week Friends!!
Be back soon!
